Release Therapies in Delafield for Women and Children
Physical therapy
Physical therapy at Trimotion is different from PT at other practices.
It starts with us listening to you to learn about what you need and want to do in your life. These are important pieces in the scope of “you” that make you who you want to be.
We listen to what your body tells us: how you move, how you breathe, how your body systems interact, and how your central nervous system reacts to daily life.... These are pieces that show us where improvements can be made. From there, we create a partnership plan that will move you to a healthier state of being in body, mind, and spirit.
Dr. Emily is an Expert Myofascial Release Therapist and holds the highest level of training available. She has honed her skills through decades of patient care and mastery, and people from all over the United States have sought out her expertise.
Myofascial release is our preferred method of hands-on therapy because of its effectiveness and gentle application. Pain and dysfunction are often caused in part by excessive tightness, which in turn puts pressure on pain-sensitive structures of the body. Myofascial release releases that tension and strain, allowing the body structure to find balance. That in turn relieves pain and allows for improvements in functional movement.
Movement re-training and neuromuscular re-education are important strategies in healing. With the use of these specialties, we help you learn how your body should work, and adjust movements and postures so you’re using your body as efficiently and effectively as possible. We create a unique movement program with you using yoga that incorporates key poses to help improve your body.
BASE Therapy and myofascial release
BASE Therapy (Balance, Alignment, and Systems Equilibrium) is our proprietary way of assessing and treating the body. We assess the body by looking at five key whole-body systems and work with you in developing a treatment strategy that brings your body into balance.
Often care is provided by two therapists treating you at the same time. This allows for quicker and deeper releases as we are able to reach restrictions and release... them more completely.
We use the myofascial release as our preferred method of hands-on therapy because of its effectiveness and gentle application. Pain and dysfunction often are caused in part by excessive tightness, which in turn puts pressure on pain-sensitive structures of the body. Myofascial release releases that tension and strain, allowing the body structure to find balance, which relieves pain and allows for improvements in functional movement.
Beyond myofascial release, we work to educate, re-train, and help your body systems work more effectively. This is truly a whole-body healing experience.
Therapeutic massage
Therapeutic massage is used to help relax the whole body. Our therapists are trained to listen to your body’s response and find the right balance of pressure for a positive therapeutic effect. Benefits of massage include relaxation, decreasing muscle toxins, improved blood flow and circulation of fluids, lowering of blood pressure, and improved tissue flexibility.
Lymphatic massage
Lymphatic massage is used to stimulate the flow of lymphatic fluid in our body. Having proper lymph flow is important to our whole health since it carries waste away from our cells and brings healthy nutrients to our cells. Regular lymphatic massage helps keep your immune system healthy and removes excess fluid within the body. This is sometimes coupled with deep oscillation therapy.
Natural energy balancing
The body’s entire system is driven by the body’s energy. Low energy makes us feel tired and often results in challenges to the body. Energy that is too high often makes us feel stressed and can also result in challenges to the body. A balanced energy system can help to keep your body functioning in a more balanced and nourishing state.
Therapeutic yoga
We use individualized therapeutic yoga flows as part of our movement therapy and your continuing self-care program. This flow will target the areas where you need improvement in strength, flexibility or balance, building stability, strength, coordination, balance and flexibility. Among its many benefits, yoga also improves muscle tone, flexibility and strength. It stimulates the immune system and helps to create a sense of well-being and calm.
Deep oscillation therapy
Deep oscillation therapy is an assisted form of massage therapy enhanced by a low-energy, pulsed electrostatic field within the body. It can positively impact the skin, muscle, blood vessels, nerves, and connective tissue.
This therapy:
- Promotes faster healing...
