New Patient Information
During your initial evaluation, you’ll meet with a Doctor of Physical Therapy for an hour for one-on-one conversation and treatment.
In this important first session together, we want to learn about you and what’s important to you. What events led to what you are feeling in your body? How do you spend your days? What do you find joy in? What do you need and want to do in your life that you are challenged to do? We want to hear your story.
Then we will move to the physical assessment. We have created a unique evaluation process that assesses five key whole-body systems that need to work in harmony for ideal health. We look at these pieces of the puzzle to show where improvements can be made. From there, we create a partnership plan that will effectively and efficiently move you to feel better, to function better in daily life, and to perform activities that you love.
We always treat on the first visit so you can take the first steps in feeling better in body, mind, and spirit.
This is dependent on each patient’s situation and goals. Typically, we start seeing you once a week and reduce the frequency as soon as you hit specific targets in your care and reduction in symptoms.
Please bring or wear a loose pair of shorts and a sports bra or tank top so we can assess your whole body. You will have a private treatment space in which to change and have your evaluation.
No. Since Wisconsin is a direct-access state, patients can seek physical therapy services without needing a prescription from their physician.
Trimotion Therapy submits to all insurances except Medicaid. We are out of network with most insurances but not all of them, so let us check your benefits for you. We are a Medicare provider.
Being out of Network allows us to:
- Provide high-quality care to you with individualized treatments that address your unique situation without the arbitrary limitations imposed by insurance companies
- Save you money by focusing on all aspects of what your body needs to heal and provide education and therapy for prevention of challenges in the future
- Work with you to provide the level and length of care that allows you to efficiently and effectively reach your goals and feel better
- Provide extensive experience and expertise with proven treatments that are cost-effective and, more importantly, work for you. 98 percent of our patients report that they have met their goals and beyond.
Supporting your goals
We believe that coming to therapy should be about focusing on healing and reaching your goals – not worrying about the bill. To support that philosophy, our Patient Concierge Service will check your insurance benefits, then provide you with a written estimate of financial obligation based on different payment options - so you can choose which is right for you. Our Patient Concierge will submit insurance claims on your behalf, or provide a superbill with all of the necessary information so that you may receive reimbursement from your insurance company.
Most patients report that when their deductible has been met, they have received 60 to 90 percent reimbursement for our services, depending on their insurance plan. Though we cannot guarantee reimbursement, we provide all of the submission support necessary to allow you to focus on your healing journey. More and more people report having high deductible plans and high co-pay payment insurance plans. It is not unusual these days for our patients to invest in their health beyond their insurance by using a Health Savings Account, a Flex Spending Account, or paying cash.
Since we are able to customize your treatments to your needs, we can work together to determine how far, and how fast you want to go with your healing. Since our treatments are individualized, our patients tend to get better faster. When that happens, you not only feel your best, you save time and money.

Since consistency with care is important to support you in reaching your goals as efficiently as possible, we will work to get you rescheduled within that week. If that is not possible, and if the call to cancel was made less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment, there is a $50 cancellation fee.
