Meet Your Therapy Team
Dr. Emily Wolkomir, PT, DPT, CSCS
Dr. Emily first became interested in physical therapy at a young age while being rehabilitated from a soccer injury. This experience prompted her to pursue a degree in physical therapy, which she did by graduating from the University of North Dakota with a Masters degree in 2002 and Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2005. Her personal interest in sports, training and wellness lead her to earn a Strength and Conditioning Specialist certificate in 2001.
Early in her career, Dr. Emily started taking John F Barnes’ Myofascial Release courses to further develop her manual therapy skills. Since 2003, she has taken numerous MFR courses and trained under the direct supervision of an advanced myofascial release therapist for over two years. She has a special interest in treating women’s health issues and has taken many continuing education courses in pelvic floor dysfunction and treatment. She is currently working towards her biofeedback certification for treatment of bowel and bladder issues in men, women and children.
In 2004, Tri-Motion Rehab, LLC was created where the purpose is to work one-on-one with patients in developing a whole-body treatment plan that suites their needs and goals with an emphasis on hands-on care and patient education. Patients can be treated at all stages of health ranging from pain and dysfunction, to overall fitness improvement, to advanced sports training.
